Saloni Arbat is a sustainability strategist with a strong foundation in urban planning and policy analysis. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from COEP Technological University, graduating with a gold medal. Her undergraduate thesis, “Assessment of Carbon Neutrality and Campus Sustainability: A Case Study of COEP Technological University,” offered a comprehensive evaluation of institutional carbon footprints and proposed strategic pathways toward achieving carbon neutrality.

To further strengthen her expertise, Saloni pursued advanced studies in Policy, Data, and Behavior Change at the Indian School of Public Policy (ISPP), where she refined her skills in designing and implementing effective sustainability policies.

At EcoVijay, Saloni began her journey as a Founder’s Associate, where she contributed to the development of sustainable business strategies aligned with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Her role evolved into Head of Partnerships & Outreach, where she now leads collaborations that amplify EcoVijay’s mission to deliver impactful, sustainable business solutions.

Her previous experiences include serving as a Junior Sustainability Consultant, gaining hands-on exposure to ESG frameworks and Business Development and Analysis (BDA) strategies. Additionally, during her internship at the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL), she gained practical experience in urban planning and land acquisition processes for large-scale metro infrastructure projects.

Saloni’s interdisciplinary background, combined with her dedication to sustainability and systems thinking, makes her an invaluable asset in driving EcoVijay’s initiatives forward.
